TinyFish becomes Fireworks' web search partner, free live web for open models
pstAsiatech · x · 2026-11-05
TinyFish is now an official web search partner for the Fireworks AI ecosystem: open models like DeepSeek, Kimi, GLM, and Qwen hosted on Fireworks get free live web search with a single tool definition. Flow: send a question with the tool definition via chat completions, the model emits a tool call, your code hits the TinyFish search API, the top 5 results go back as a tool message, and the model answers with inline citations (loop capped at 5 calls). Full single-file Python/TypeScript examples are in the docs; you just need a Fireworks and a TinyFish API key (Python 3.10+ or Node.js 22.18+).
