A new tutorial, "An Elementary Introduction to Information Geometry," requires no differential geometry background and comes with a companion video plus a second set of notes, "The Many Faces of Information Geometry" (PDF).
The illustrated curriculum covers reciprocal bases, dual parallel transport, loop transport and curvature, Bregman spheres, the Pythagorean theorem in dually flat spaces, the Cramér–Rao lower bound and Fisher efficiency, e/m-geodesics, and chordal slopes with Bregman divergences.
