Peter Yang open-sources /fuck-cancer skill to help patients advocate with AI
petergyang · x · 2026-11-04
Peter Yang released a free /fuck-cancer Claude skill (160 stars on GitHub, MIT licensed) born from helping his mom fight cancer.
- The problem: patients and caregivers don't lack information — they're drowning in confusing medical terms and scattered records. They need clear answers to three questions: what to do next, what do we know, and how to advocate for ourselves.
- What it does: creates and updates a concise, fact-based brief covering patient info, next steps, and medical contacts, so caregivers can push for proper testing and navigate difficult conversations.
- It accompanies his video walking through 5 steps for caregivers; he notes 2 in 5 Americans will get cancer in their lifetime, touching nearly every family.
