StudioLight v1.0: open-source controllable studio lighting for ComfyUI with key/fill/rim lights

Maciej Tajber (METAMATERIAL) released the open-source ComfyUI-StudioLight v1.0, addressing the problem where changing lighting prompts in generative portraits also alters faces and clothing, by offering direct lighting control:
- Three light types: position key, fill, and rim lights in camera space, with six photographic modifiers (soft octabox, silver beauty dish, stripbox, Fresnel spotlight, hard snoot, direct flash)
- Parameter control: azimuth, elevation, distance, subject targeting, plus intensity and Kelvin color temperature
- Two relighting modes: add studio light while retaining the original scene, or replace subject lighting using estimated Marigold albedo
- Two workflows: Relight (start from an existing photo) and Create (start from a generated draft)
- Direct lighting preview based on cached scene analysis, with optional diffusion refinement
Limitations stem from single-view 2.5D geometry estimation: no shadows from hidden surfaces, and albedo extraction may retain traces of existing lighting. Works with FLUX.1 (incl. Krea) and SDXL, MIT licensed.
