Two Reusable Prompts: Analogy-Based Learning and a 30-Day Spaced-Repetition Plan

The post shares two copy-paste prompt templates for learning with an LLM:
- Analogy-based learning: state a subject you already know well, then ask the model to explain a new topic through that lens — start with the big picture, break the new topic into 3-5 main parts and map each to something familiar, explicitly flag where each analogy breaks down so you don't absorb wrong intuitions, and close with two questions that test standalone understanding.
- 30-day spaced-repetition plan: given minutes per day and starting level, split the topic into small units and schedule first learning plus reviews at 1, 3, 7, 14 and 30 days, with each day showing what's new, what to review and a quick self-test, laid out as a day-by-day table.
Both are fill-in-the-blank workflows usable with any chat model.
