Developer open-sources a Bloomberg Terminal clone, vs the $30k/year original

A developer rebuilt a clone of the Bloomberg Terminal — which costs about $30,000 a year — and open-sourced it on GitHub.
- Built with Next.js 15, React 19, and TypeScript, structured as an SPA since URL structure and browser history add little for a terminal with constantly mutating financial data.
- The interface closely mimics Bloomberg's: real-time market data with configurable refresh rate, market monitors, and panels for volatility, futures, and yield curves.
- Includes an AI Market Analysis feature for natural-language Q&A over market data.
