Oracle Launches Graph-Based Agent Memory Where New Facts Supersede Old Ones Automatically
CodeByPoonam · x · 2026-11-04
Oracle's AI Agent Memory 26.8 rebuilds agent memory around how facts evolve, addressing the flaw of flat-list memory where agents act on stale facts:
- Graph Memory links facts with typed relationships: supersedes, refines, supports, contradicts, duplicates.
- A new fact supersedes the old one so the agent knows which is current; the old fact stays as history for auditing how things changed.
- Graph-aware retrieval returns the match plus its linked context, bounded to enrich rather than flood the prompt.
- Linking can happen automatically as memories are created.
A runnable Python notebook is provided. (Sponsored post.)
