A developer shipped ComfyUI-VFX-Suite v0.1.0-preview for the #OpenSourceHiggsfield challenge: a fully browser-based, entirely local VFX studio that runs open-weights models on a single 24GB GPU with zero cloud APIs.
Key features:
- Smart pipeline: auto-extracts masks, depth, pose and accurate camera tracks (evolved from COLMAP/GLOMAP experiments to custom LTX-2.3 IC-LoRAs)
- 3D & generative control: block scenes in 3D, design keyframes with FLUX.3 Klein, generate backgrounds/characters with LTX-2.5 layout-to-render IC-LoRAs
- Chained workflows: custom API workflows chained into one-click pipelines
- AI Director: a chat agent that prepares and runs the execution environment from plain-language prompts
- Industry integration: composite, relight, refine, dub and export straight to Nuke via dedicated nodes
Built in two weeks; core pipeline works but the project is raw and needs testing. Open-sourced on GitHub.
