Same Claude model served by Bedrock one day and Anthropic the next, dev finds

A developer building a desktop app that routes one prompt to multiple models stamped every answer with model, time, and the actual serving host. Reviewing his history, he found the same Claude model was served by Amazon Bedrock on Oct 26 and directly by Anthropic on Oct 28 — same model name, same prompt style, different company running it.
Key implications he highlights:
- Retention rules are per host, not per model: one host may keep no logs, another may retain them for a while
- Latency and rate limits differed between the two hosts
- For enterprises, "I used Claude" is no longer the full answer — which company touches the data matters
He asks whether others pin providers when routing, and whether anyone has seen output differences for the same model across hosts.
