BioCompute opens its remotely controlled wet lab, pitching 'Lovable for biology'
vaibhavbetter · x · 2026-11-04
BioCompute Inc. is opening up its automated lab hardware as WLaaS (Wet Lab as a Service): you bring the experiment idea (or send an AI agent), their custom hardware runs it, and you get the data back — no lab to build, no months of setup, no wet-lab experience required.
The company originally built the hardware for storing data in DNA and is now extending it to molecular and cell-based work. It's pitching the service as "Lovable, but for biology." A small first group of testers can submit experiment proposals by Nov 30; a waitlist is open.
