Binance publishes postmortem of $6B heist, the largest theft in history

Binance voluntarily published a postmortem of a $6B+ theft — the largest single heist in human history — which @hosseeb calls a tremendous public service that every engineer should read.
Key lessons: the heist was executed through mundane channels; the internet will soon be full of AI-accelerated social engineering; build infrastructure assuming compromise, run AI-powered monitoring 24/7, and keep a "shut it all down" killswitch ready instead of scrambling in the moment.
