Solo Dev Ships Claude Code-Built iOS Vocab App Where Claude Grades Answers at ~0.5¢ Each

A developer details building Glossa, an iOS vocabulary app, almost entirely with Claude: Claude Design produced the screens, Claude Code built the SwiftUI app from a build spec in steps over Oct 3-5, and subagents drafted 400 word cards from Wiktionary data with five fact-checking agents (≈419 confirmed, 20 fixed, 1 removed).
Grading pipeline: Opus 5.5 at low effort scores answers against set criteria, but server code decides pass/fail; tapping 'Disagree?' triggers a regrade by Fable 5.1 at high effort, with the higher result standing. Each grade costs about half a cent. Claude Code also produced the promo video in HyperFrames from real simulator captures.
Apple rejected the first build because the monthly price pill visually outweighed the billed yearly price; Claude Code fixed it and the app launched Oct 29. Free first word, then subscription.
