Claude Code early team member @_catwu departs Anthropic after two years
DynamicWebPaige · x · 2026-11-04
catwu, an early member of the Claude Code team, announced Friday was her last day at Anthropic. Two years ago, when Claude Code was a small internal tool, she had it build an RL environment — steering it for tens of hours without manually writing a line of code — and that experience hooked her into joining the team.
She recalls that at launch most users approved every permission prompt by hand and mostly used Claude to answer questions and write tests; usage looks very different today.
