The 2nd International Workshop on Neuro for AI & AI for Neuro will be held February 22–23, 2027 in Montréal during AAAI 2027, with papers due November 20, 2026 (archival long + non-archival short).
- Neuro → AI: translating cortical microcircuit principles (E-I balance, sparse modular coding, dendritic nonlinearities) into efficient multimodal architectures; this edition adds a focus on context-dependent brain plasticity as inspiration for continual learning in foundation models
- AI → Neuro: AI-driven analysis of calcium imaging, electrophysiology, and behavioral data, plus gradient-based training of biologically realistic models
