Apple shipped a Developer Preview in the iOS/iPadOS/macOS/visionOS 27.3 betas letting any developer integrate apps with Siri AI.
- How: App Intents bring app content and actions into Siri AI, with personal context understanding, onscreen awareness, and a new skills system that chains multiple actions into one experience.
- Semantic index: Siri can now surface any entity in the Spotlight semantic index, not just existing schemas.
- Note from cocktailpeanut: progressive web apps are excluded—an interesting implication despite looking minor.
- Languages: English, French, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Spanish live; Traditional Chinese, Norwegian, Turkish, Vietnamese coming.
