LlamaIndex launches OpenDocRouter, a unified API that parses PDFs into Markdown
llama_index · x · 2026-11-04
LlamaIndex launched OpenDocRouter, a unified document-parsing API: send PDFs or images, get per-page structured Markdown back with headings, tables, and figures. Users pick any (versioned) model with a parsing recipe and ParseBench benchmarks; pages run as parallel calls, failed pages are free, retries pick up where you left off. New accounts get $5 free credit; frontier models cost exactly provider rates. Docs are designed to be pasted straight into your coding agent for quick integration.
