A PhD student's final paper (with @suzeva and Luke Bailey) turns a benchmark into a series of easier hinted versions, jointly modeling scale C and hint level H. Even models scoring zero can be extrapolated: the method forecasts GSM8K accuracy (H=0) within 3 points using 5600x less compute. A talk and detailed thread are available.
