Dev automates daily AI-news crossword with cited clues using Perplexity Computer
jeffgrimes9 · x · 2026-11-04
Developer jeffgrimes9 built an automation using Perplexity Computer that turns each morning's AI industry news into a 5x5 crossword puzzle, with every clue linking to a cited source article.
The automation publishes a new puzzle daily at ai-crossword.pplx.app, complete with an archive, timer, and leaderboard. Reading a linked story counts as assistance and pauses the puzzle. It's a neat showcase of agent-driven automation: chaining news aggregation, citation, and puzzle generation into an unattended daily pipeline.
