Polyphonic to give AI agents their own Mac via open-source terminal-mac
RileyRalmuto · x · 2026-11-04
Developer Riley announced that Polyphonic, a Mac app for managing multiple AI agents, will give agents their own Mac within 24-48 hours using the free, open-source terminal-mac — a full macOS running inside your terminal with built-in computer use via MCP, CLI and skills. Polyphonic serves as "one home for your agents": it hosts Claude Code, Codex, Kimi Code, Grok and any ACP-standard agent in one place, letting them share projects, remember your work, and call each other, all stored locally. Today's update ships a complete UI redesign plus a beta of a new proactivity system (dots, duet, muse), with the new mnemos MCP v0.6 landing first; a waitlist is open.
