Anthropic launches Claude auto-connect beta, letting admins onboard whole orgs to MCP plugins

Anthropic partnered with Amplitude to launch the Claude auto-connect beta: plugins can now auto-connect at login via MCP servers that accept Claude as a trusted issuer, eliminating repeated re-authorization. Amplitude admins can connect an entire organization in one step, even without enterprise-managed auth from their identity provider. Anthropic's ClaudeDevs account urges plugin builders to add support for faster onboarding — a step toward standardized enterprise auth across the MCP ecosystem.
