NVIDIA open-sourced OpenShell on GitHub, a safe and private runtime for autonomous AI agents under Apache-2.0, already at 21k stars and 2.1k forks.
The repo ships a full engineering setup: Rust crates, SDKs, agent skills, examples, telemetry, and deploy configs. AI dev relations lead Merve Noyan tried it hands-on, sandboxing her agent "intern" on a DGX Spark after unplugging it over security concerns, and plans to move the setup to her DGX next.
