Per FT, Nvidia has told cloud and data center customers that at least 51% of services under new contracts must go to non-Chinese companies, targeting the overseas cloud-rental loophole Chinese developers use to train on advanced chips remotely. Cloud firms must also report chip end-user identities. Nvidia earlier cut its cleared Asian customer list by more than half; a B300 rack sells for $600K internationally but reportedly fetched $2.54M in China last month.
