Math professor lets Codex control an office PC and build his new website in 40 minutes

Mathematician Alex Kontorovich shared how he got "nerd-sniped" by Vidit's suggestion: before driving home, he told Codex — which fully controls a "burner" computer in his office with complete permissions — to "make me a cool website, not my 15-year-old lame one." Forty minutes later (he doesn't know exactly when it finished), the new site was done. A neat showcase of letting a coding agent take over a real machine with full autonomy, turning a passing idea into a finished product during a commute.
