Managing many Claude Code sessions: local JSON state files plus a Streamlit dashboard
sujingshen · x · 2026-11-03
A user asked how to manage multiple concurrent Agent sessions (Antigravity/Claude Code/Codex): Feishu notifications can't link back to sessions or mark task status, and parallel completions feel like pointer round-robin. sujingshen proposes three fixes: (1) each session writes a unique-ID JSON state file (task summary, status, resume command) to a shared local directory, aggregated by a file watcher; (2) recommended: a lightweight local dashboard (Streamlit/web/TUI) reading those files to show all active/done sessions, with one-click resume back to the terminal or IDE and manual status updates; (3) a local supervisor bot using the Claude API to poll the state directory, pushing concise notifications only on changes, stalls, or needed confirmations. Conclusion: Feishu isn't real-time enough — local processing is fastest and most customizable.
