A Mago co-founder announced the open-source release (v0.19.0) of their AI video studio on GitHub (MagoStudio/MagoStudio), aimed at long-form work like AI series, short films and microdramas.
- Start from an idea or script; it generates cast, shot lists, storyboards and shots while keeping characters consistent
- Bring your own footage and restyle it
- Runs on ComfyUI (bundled plug-and-play or your own install); renders locally with open models like MiniMax H3, Qwen, FLUX (16GB+ VRAM Nvidia recommended), with cloud models mixed in as needed
