GitHub Copilot app adds Projects: give Copilot an ongoing goal across repos and sessions
0xkarasy · x · 2026-11-03
GitHub Copilot app launches Projects (public preview), letting Copilot coordinate work toward a broader, ongoing goal across repositories, sessions and recurring automations. Projects can span multiple repos or run repo-free tasks (e.g. triaging customer feedback), support scheduled Automations and artifacts, and are created by picking repositories plus describing the goal in natural language. Author elbruno uses one project to run all his .NET Conf planning, decisions and coding samples.
