DeepSeek open-sources dsh-superagent, a proactive coding agent for GitHub repos
Beneficial-Ad-8127 · reddit · 2026-11-03
DeepSeek released dsh-superagent-prototype ("Towards a More Autonomous Agent System") on GitHub, hitting 13k stars at launch.
- A proactive coding agent for a single GitHub repository, packaged as a bundle for DeepSeek Harness
- It listens to GitHub (optionally Feishu); when an allowed user assigns work, it opens a work item, works in its own agent session and directory, and answers in the original conversation—e.g., with a pull request
- A web panel shows what needs human attention
It's DeepSeek's official prototype step toward more autonomous agent systems.
