rauchg ships fx: a 5.97 MiB Zig-based open-source coding agent

Guillermo Rauch (rauchg) released fx, an open-source (Apache-2.0) coding agent harness and CLI written in Zig, with a tiny 5.97 MiB binary focused on minimalism and performance. He's been testing it with Gemini on two high-complexity projects and says it's doing great.
Key points:
- Minimal by design: concise system prompts and tool schemas, shell-like terminal ergonomics rather than an IDE
- WebAssembly support: the full CLI runs in the browser (compiled with the Zig toolchain), networking delegated to browser fetch
- Context efficient: skill instructions and MCP tool schemas load on demand
- Model-agnostic and embeddable: works with local models, gateways, or direct provider APIs; core embeddable via libfx
- Currently v0.0.16, experimental, installed with a single curl command
m4rkmc quipped "every team needs a personality hire!"
