Daniel Mac shares Karpathy's latest vibe coding setup: Claude Code Desktop on Mac with Opus 5.5 Medium as default, talking to Claude for everything. Per the screenshot, Karpathy no longer does traditional engineering (read/write code, run commands) — his only manual steps were creating a Google Cloud API key for YouTube metadata, spinning up a VPS, and buying a domain. He then gave Claude the IP and it updated, deployed, secured, hardened, and optimized everything itself.
