Meta could offload 600K GPUs as 40% of H100/H200 capacity sits idle, insider claims

An unverified claim from a former Nvidia global strategic partnerships lead says Meta holds 1.3M GPUs and could offload at least 600K older units (H100/H200/B200/B300) as it moves to Vera GB300, with 40%+ of capacity underutilized — bad news for NeoClouds like CoreWeave, Nebius and IREN. He also notes a commercial cloud takes at least 12 months to build, so massive capacity won't be online until 2028.
