Stop telling agents 'don't do X' — make them build detection and correction systems
WalterReade · x · 2026-11-01
WalterReade argues a critical skill for using agents well is root-cause problem solving: instead of saying 'stop doing <bad thing>', ask the agent to 'develop a system to detect and correct when <bad thing> happens.' People who think in terms of countermeasures get far more out of agents.
