- NVIDIA released 2,595 free SimReady 3D models on Hugging Face (225GB in Blender format), and developer @anxuanng optimized the whole set for browser use, cutting it to 3.8GB with near-identical visual quality.
- Standout example: a V8 engine model went from 888MB / 9s load time to 9.3MB / 0.6s.
- The optimized set is freely available under CC BY 4.0; the post also shows Opus 5.5 building a live browsable warehouse scene from these assets.
