PopVax launches personalized cancer vaccine service: AI-designed mRNA shipped in 8-10 weeks
serious_mehta · x · 2026-10-31
Hyderabad-based biotech PopVax announced it now manufactures personalized cancer vaccines. Users submit tumor sequencing data (or their own designed sequence), and PopVax's AI pipeline designs candidate neoantigen vaccine sequences, then produces the mRNA, encapsulates it in its LNP formulation, fills vials, and runs QC — all in 8 to 10 weeks. Unlike big pharma, which won't take personalized orders, the company is publicly committing to capacity for 100+ vaccines over the next 12 months and inviting patients to email their cancer type/stage and sequencing details.
- Full pipeline: sequencing → AI neoantigen design → mRNA production → LNP encapsulation → fill and QC
- Turnaround: 8-10 weeks per vaccine
- Capacity: 100+ personalized vaccines committed over 12 months
