Factory ditches .ai, snags factory.com to pitch agent-native software development
matanSF · x · 2026-10-31
Factory, the enterprise AI coding company, dropped the .ai from its domain — now factory.com — drawing praise as one of the best domain moves of the AI era. Its platform centers on Droid agents across desktop, terminal, web and CLI: model routing per task, deep PR review, auto-updating repo wikis, governance analytics, and dedicated local hardware (Droid Computers) for running agents, aimed at turning enterprise intent into validated production software.
