Indie dev Voibe poaches Wispr Flow users by covering their remaining subscription costs

The indie developer of Voibe, a voice-input app, shared a clever growth play: while Wispr Flow and Granola trade blows publicly, he emailed trial users offering to cover their remaining subscription costs if they switch from Wispr or Granola.
The screenshot shows a user canceling a Wispr Flow subscription (ZAR 1,440/year) the same day, replying that after a week with Voibe they're making the switch—a textbook example of an indie dev converting rivals' churn into customers.
