Steve Yegge shared stats relayed from @csells: Beads now closes 4 transactions per second worldwide — compared to Bitcoin's 7 tx/sec and Mastercard's 4,600/sec, putting it on track to reach 1% of Mastercard's transaction volume within a year. The tool hit 500k downloads this month, about 33% month-over-month growth, and Yegge quipped he'd think hard before trading Beads away for anything.
