Researchers announced what appears to be the first published machine-checked proof of a security property for the end-to-end execution of a Linux process running an x86 binary statically linked against glibc, a joint project with Zellic. The visualization covers 128,693 instructions: 5.4k proved on executed paths, 10k proved on other paths, 23k IFUNC candidates verified address-only, and 88k unreached (locale, charsets, etc.). The team believes the approach scales.
