- China's Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security announced 11 new professions in September, including embodied AI robot application technicians and digital twin engineers, reflecting job growth in the embodied AI sector.
- At Sevnce Robotics in Chongqing, a technician trains robotic arms for petroleum, chemical and power inspection: adjusting knobs to simulate conditions, training models in simulation, then testing failure recovery and human-intervention thresholds for long-term reliable deployment.
- Digital twin engineers build virtual environments where inspection robots rehearse before real-world rollout.
