AI Engineer's code-focused annual summit, Code Summit, runs Nov 10–12 in San Francisco. swyx says it will gather 1,000 top AI engineers to accurately represent the 2026 SOTA in AI x Code and preview 2027. Last year only 800 were admitted, with 1.5 million talk views worldwide. Attendance is by application only; tickets cost $1,299 ($1,499 at the door) plus a $299 workshop add-on. The single-track program brings together agentic coding engineers, founders rolling out coding agents, and researchers. threepointone joked about sneaking in unnoticed.
