dkundel · x · 2026-10-31
A user shared screenshots of an upcoming ChatGPT feature: chats that were still running when the app closed now trigger a "Resume 2 chats?" prompt after restart, letting users choose "Keep paused" or "Resume" to continue without losing progress.
The feature appears to be in gradual rollout and is particularly useful for long-running tasks and agentic use cases.
