Dev calls GitHub Actions' 99.3% uptime claim "a complete lie": SLAs underreport outages

Developer ctjlewis publicly called GitHub Actions' claimed 99.3% uptime over the last 90 days "a complete lie," accusing GitHub of underreporting both the severity and duration of outages on its status page.
In a follow-up he does the math: accurately counting just today's ongoing incident would already drop the 90-day figure to 99.3% even if no other outage had occurred. A sharp reminder that vendor self-reported status pages deserve skepticism from teams relying on CI.
