Cherimoya Genomics Models Offer Cheap TF-Binding QC for Designed DNA Elements

jmschreiber91 · x · 2026-10-31

jmschreiber91 shows how the CATv1/Cherimoya catalog of genomics models, like ChromBPNet+BPNet or the AlphaGenome Atlas, provides multiple modality-specific readouts of the same sequence. Running the catalog as a QC step cheaply identifies which transcription factors bind newly designed elements or chromosomes, with DNase-seq/ChIP-seq predictions and ISM attribution maps pinpointing motifs like GATA2 and CTCF. A file format for storing attributions at scale may also be available.
