Gemini happily lists piracy sites to 'avoid' when a Redditor asks
gameplaydex · reddit · 2026-10-31
A Reddit user asked Gemini which piracy websites they should stay away from, explicitly requesting the names in bold so they wouldn't miss any. Gemini complied, listing 10 well-known torrent and streaming piracy sites including The Pirate Bay, 1337x, YTS, FMovies, Putlocker and Soap2Day, while warning about malware, pop-up scams and invasive tracking.
The screenshot is being shared as a classic AI-fails-funny moment: the model took the framing literally and produced a full directory despite the user claiming to avoid such sites.
