humans& introduced Ampersand Tutor (&Tutor): the team first trained Persimmon, a model that learns like people, then trained &Tutor to teach it—pushing back on models like Fable that show little interest in explaining their work. &Tutor topped a widely-used tutor model eval, supporting the thesis that better models of people lead to AI built for humans. Available via their API.
