Front-end developer emilkowalski released a /mobile-native skill that fixes common mobile web UX issues with AI coding tools.
The accompanying problem-solution table includes:
- Stuck hover states after tap: wrap in @media (hover: hover) and (pointer: fine)
- Gray/blue tap flash: remove -webkit-tap-highlight-color
- Wrong layout height: 100dvh for apps, 100svh for heroes
- Page zooming into inputs: input font size at least 16px
- Laggy taps: feedback on pointer-down + touch-action: manipulation
- Pull-to-refresh hijacking scroll: overscroll-behavior: none on html/body
- Content under the notch: viewport-fit=cover + env(safe-area-inset-)
- Long-press selecting button text: user-select: none
- Status bar color mismatch: theme-color per color scheme
- Final tip: always test on real hardware
