Databricks launched Agent Memory on Agent Bricks, addressing the problem of agents relearning the same facts every session. A background pipeline extracts durable facts from session history, removes duplicates, and replaces information contradicted by newer conversations, with Lakebase providing low-latency access.
Internal benchmarks on enterprise data tasks show the memory architecture tripled agent pass rates while using 31% fewer tokens compared to memory-less agents.
