Inside HS Precision: the Shenzhen factory machining aluminum parts for leading humanoid robots
LoganGrasby · x · 2026-10-30
Logan Grasby toured HS Precision, a leading robotics component manufacturer in Shenzhen, in a tour organized by @boshenzh. The factory spans nearly an entire city block, running 5-axis CNC machines, SLA printers and a large fleet of Bamboo Lab 3D printers, and also machines parts for F1 teams. He notes many leading robotics companies source their aluminum components here — "if you've bought a humanoid from China, chances are it has parts made here." Photos show a suspended humanoid robot test unit and the production floor.
