Sentry co-founder reveals $50k+/month spend on Warden for LLM code review
zeeg · x · 2026-10-30
Sentry co-founder David Cramer shared that his team now spends over $50k/month on Warden, mainly for security reviews but not exclusively — quipping that everyone once believed LLM-powered code review would cost $20/month.
Warden builds on the Claude Code Skills mechanism: skills are defined in Markdown (security-review, code-review, api-design-review, dependency-review, etc.) and composed into agents that automatically review every pull request. Findings appear as one-click-applicable commit suggestions, e.g. rewriting string-interpolated SQL into parameterized queries to fix injection vulnerabilities.
