Global Law as one Git history: HN #1 repo makes world law queryable by AI agents
SnooPeripherals5313 · reddit · 2026-10-30
Developer lexifina released global-law, a repo putting every country's law into a single Git history (each country as a submodule), designed to make law semantic, versioned, attributable, and queryable by AI agents via MCP. It hit #1 on Hacker News and is fully open under CC0.
One quirk: commits are calculated as seconds since Jan 1, 1970, so the history has a 1970 cut-off. The author welcomes feedback.
