Lagrange Point and HackerFab IITB have launched Junction, dubbed the "day -1 of the Indian Manhattan Project" — a two-week intensive retreat in Bangalore this December aimed at building toward semiconductor national sovereignty. Participants will work on real projects like building nanofabrication tools, tuning process flows, and improving open-source chip designs, alongside mentors from academia and industry, including student researchers who built a fab from scratch. The team is recruiting top engineering minds across India (and beyond) to take the first small steps toward a national semiconductor industry.
